Individual Therapy

In Individual Therapy, we will:

  1. Identify the main struggles that brought you to therapy

  2. Set some goals together so that I can have a sense of where you want to go

  3. Explore and decide on which therapy tools fit you best (creative, movement-based, IFS, etc.)

  4. Meet weekly or bi-weekly (currently telehealth only) to move through your issues one step at a time.

The initial consult session focuses on:

  1. What issues are you struggling with most?

  2. What do you hope to change in your life via therapy?

  3. What kinds of questions or concerns about the therapy process do you have?

  4. Based on what I offer and what you need - does it seem like we would be a good fit?

If we decide to work together, we may dig into any or many of the following topics:

  • shame, guilt, and other tough feelings

  • communication in your relationships (friends, family, partners)

  • setting up systems that make your life easier

  • gender identity

  • sexuality

  • racial identity

  • internalized oppression

  • internalized supremacy

  • interrogating societal expectations

  • the role of play, rest, and empty space in your life

  • all the other things that come up in life!
